Two for one
I'm getting closer to not missing that 6.40 train but just not close enough. Not 'sitting on it as it pulls out of the station' close. Tomorrow. For sure.
Today's flatbread of employment was leavened by a visit from Laura who came to the office to visit me for a research project she's working on although by this point we had established her artistic credentials and interest in lo-fi photography so it was safe enough to inform her that she qualified as a photographable stranger, which probably constitutes a form of professional blackmail but needs must. Anyway, since the mosque lunch was on we did the work bit and headed up there to meet some other blip folk and eat tasty food before walking back to the station, although actually carrying on to Jenners where Laura had a need for speciality jam. (?) After the final pitch of the joy of involvement in this fine community, by Stewart, I got my photo, with the bonus of a Mr Bremner reflection. I tell you, these arty people who know how to pose themselves are great. She just ignored me. Result.
The rest of the day passed with some batting of ideas and some tip tapping keyboard action. Typically, the rain kicked in just as it was time to head for the train home.
