What a Whopper!

I was blipping some lovely roses for you when PLOP! - this guy falls out of the acer tree beside me. I thought it was a birdlet but upon investigation , there he was....Mr HUGE Snail - upside down and wiggling to move.

His shell is rather gorgeous and he is "at home" now in my big tub planter away from prying eyes, covered in foliage and little petals.

I've never seen snail this size - you will get his hugeness from the size of a regular daisy in the shot.

Anyone lost a pet????
