Cousin Bob and the Yucca

Today's the day .................... to have fun

Called on my cousin Bob and his wife Francoise today - and undeterred by slightly inclement weather, we had a barbeque lunch in their garden. This is Bob in his cooking apron making sure that the amazing Yucca plant was not missing out on the fun.

Considering that Yuccas are native to the hot and dry parts of North and South America the Caribbean, I reckon they have done pretty well to get it to produce this spectacular flower .....................
