Callanish

Had a busy day today with friends....Carloway Broch, then lunch and wander round Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, back to Stornoway for fish & chips followed by visit to Callanish Standing Stones for summer solstice. It was really cold however so had a chat with a couple who were there looking for two stones that are supposed to line up and where the sun/moon shines through them ........the story got a bt lost so if anyone has information, please let me know.
Anyone after wandering round for about an hour these were the only ones i could find to line up, then it was back to the cosy cottage for cheese and biscuits and a dram !
