Can ya tell what it is yet....er....yet?

Got most of the background painted in today and removed the mask.

I'm trying to capture the depth of field of the original photo, quite a task without the use of an airbrush but I think it's getting there. The removal of the mask should make the main subject jump out now, even though it's just a bright white blob at the moment.

For anyone interested this is watercolour on stretched 140lb paper. For the blurred effect i'm using pastels. The mask is/was liquid latex.
