Failed tooth removal - A simple 13 step guide!

I was to have a wisdom tooth taken out today but tooth said no.

Stage 1. X-ray of sexy face to get a better look at sexy problem tooth.

Stage 2. Problem confirmed and I elect to have the sexy bugger removed.

Stage 3. Anaesthetic injection.

Stage 4. Testing of anaesthetic. Couldn't feel a thing.

Stage 5. Attempted removal 1. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

Stage 6. More anaesthetic.

Stage 7. See stage 4.

Stage 8. Attempted removal 2. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

Stage 9. See stage 6.

Stage 10. See stage 4.

Stage 11. Attempted removal 3. Aaaaaaa(a^300)argh!

Stage 12. Dentist won't give me any more local anaesthetic. My tooth hurts even more now despite everything else (manly man-pride included) being completely numb.

Stage 13. Dentist dresses tooth and I go and sit down and contemplate all possible meanings of the phrase 'screaming like a namby pamby drippy thing'.

So I am to have it removed at the hospital whilst under general anaesthetic. Let's see if I can scream whilst sleeping.

I feel sorry for my dentist. He's very good at his job and was kind throughout - even in the face of extreme muppetry.
