Swirl

The watery swirl.......I do love to photograph water. Always. Today I took a second when we all jumped out of the pool to get the swirling waves that created such a whimsical abstract design.

We took the kids swimming today at our local outdoor swimming pool. It was packed just as we expected. The first almost 90 degree day of the summer. But it was wonderful. The kids jumped off of the side of the pool into our arms almost the entire time that we were there. Our son is getting really comfortable with swimming and can almost swim from one side to the other in the shallow end. And our daughter just loves to "cannon ball". Her cannon ball resembles a belly flop.

We are a water family. My husband and I were raised in and around water and that is exactly how our little family is now. Water is peaceful and refreshing to us. And that is why it is vital that our kids become strong swimmers. It's a must. A great afternoon with our family today and a wonderful outdoor BBQ with Mama and Papa this evening.
