The day my eldest came to me and said "Dad I want to join the Raf" I could have cried.My view was not anti services but not pro either, my dad had served in WW11 also in the RAF (he was a tail gunner), and was the most anti-war person I knew.However it's difficult not to be proud of my son as he goes to the air training corps with his uniform pressed and his boots shining, and he does everything with a smile on his face, what can a dad do?.
