Happy Birthday, Grandad....

... or why you should never work with children.

In an effort to make a birthday blip for Grandad, Mummy attempted what has previously proved very successful. The "baby holding signs" blended images thing. Lovely, great, fabulous, pretty easy. Turns out "toddler holding signs" blended images thing not so easy.
Problem 1. She wouldnt wear clothes or nappy.
Problem 2. She wouldnt hold the word "birthday".
Problem 3. After one held word, one failed word, she didnt want to sit on the sofa, she wanted to climb it.
However, despite that, I love it. The outcome is so Katie! So whilst it didn't go to plan, isnt fabulous photography, it makes me smile, and hopefully will make Grandad smile too!

And yes, Katie is a bit better, thankyou. Her eye is healing well, gone down quite a lot since yesterday, although rather green now! Her temperature is still high but not as high as it got last night. She was up several times, came in with me at 1am in the end, and slept til 5.30, then slept til 7.

We're pottering round at home today, the not too well Katie cancelled our daytime plans, plus we have family arriving for tea. Including Uncle Simon. Katie is going to be extremely excited to have him AND grandad at the same time!
