Exactly a week ago I blipped the 60 Steps by Alexander Greek Thomson.

This a more familiar example of his work in the heart of the Gorbals and not far from where he lived.

There are plans to refurbish it and turn it into a musem and galleries dedicated to Thomson, and to become a home to the Alexander Thomson Society. But things move very very slowly.

Although many feel he is every bit as important as Charles Rennie Mackintosh a lot of his work has been allowed to be demolished and currently the 'Egyptian Halls' in the centre of the city are under threat.
