Early Riser

At 6:30 this morning Linda saw a green woodpecker (a real one, not this enamel badge) in the tree in our back garden .

We have never seen a green woodpecker in our garden before ~ but it could be there every morning for all we know, as we are not usually up and about that early.

Having said that, I will be up early tomorrow in the hope of seeing it.
