Ozzy extends his stay

Ozzy was due to leave yesterday to go and stay with other friends of his who are a bit busy at the moment. As he's been so well behaved, and I've been such a good girl, Ann said he could stay until Friday. Yay!

We've had a lovely day. First thing this morning we went for a play on the beach. We took an old tennis ball with us because I wasn't bothered if Ozzy did his usual trick of chewing it up. I don't really like tennis balls 'cos they're not very bouncy. Also Ann has said if I continue to be a good girl while Ozzy's here, she'll buy me some new bouncy balls at the weekend.

When we were at the beach we met my friend Holly, the collie cross. She was digging a hole and Ozzy went running up to her and had a good sniff around. Then he came zooming back to me. I could tell that Holly was really impressed that I had such a handsome boyfriend. She's about the same age as Ozzy and I bet she was wondering how an 'older doggie' like me could pull such a hunk? Must be my charm, wit and dazzling personality I guess!

This afternoon we went to the dunes at Gwithian and did lots of rabbit chasing. Ozzy can actually run quite fast - though he's not as speedy as me. ........................And neither of us were speedy enough to catch any rabbits.

I'm having a great time with Ozzy. I think I might be in love??!!!!!!!!!!!!!
