So, who pays the ferryman?

......there's a £250million bill to be paid whether Embra gets its Blackpool tram line or not.....but who pays? As I watched water dripping through multiple holes in the school roof on Tuesday night, and then near broke my neck on a cracked and holed paving stone on the way home, a feeling of melancholy set-in that our beautiful city has been mismanaged to the point of ruin. Surely someone needs to be held to account?

However, that was Tuesday and this is Thursday and the sun is shining and actually £250million is less than 0.8% of the Scottish Government budget which is a tiny fraction of the overall UK budget, so really it's pretty insignificant. But be warned, the fact remains that it falls to the good burghers of Edinburgh to make up the shortfall....I calculate that its roughly £500 per person from every man, woman and child. So, get your piggy banks oot and lets be having your pennies.
