In conversation

Our studio day today. This afternoon Marta came to visit and talk to us about our work as artists. She is hoping to get funding from the Research Council to carry out a sociological study on the career paths of women artists and how they might differ from those of men. Apparently Sheffield has the most artists working in the city after London. She originally visited the studio during Sheffield Open-Up with her partner and he suggested that she came back to talk to us for an initial exploratory interview. Our discussions were quite wide ranging and we ended up talking about things that the three of us have never discussed before.
