Coloured Rocks
It's been a wonderful day outside. I could have taken some fantastic images out in the mid-summer glory.
Unfortunately I've quite a bit of work on at the moment, so I've gone for a quick shot from my desk chair (although nothing to do with work, I should add). It's part of a geological map of the Shetlands that I picked up on my recent holiday (the holiday which may be to blame for seeming to have so much work on!).
To keep my spirits up, I asked folk to tell me jokes via facebook earlier in the evening. The winning contributions were:
"What do you call a Frenchman in sandals?"
(Phillippe Flop)
and:
"Why is the sea dirty?"
(Because the sea wee'd)
They made me smile. And they must have made my computer smile too, because together it and I managed to solve all bar one of the problems I had otherwise spent the day trying to solve :) YAY!
So, now that work is done for the day, and it'll be light for another 2 hours, I could probably still take a decent "outdoor" photo. But more likely I'll go and doss on the slack-line instead.
