Knackered And Confused

I got home from the concert at 1.30am this morning!! I slept through til 8.15am but I've still been knackered all day!

I popped into East Linton this afternoon & spotted this fountain which I had never noticed before! The plaque says:

'Presented to the Borough of East Linton by John Drysdale Esq, Buenos Ayres, 1882'

Buenos Ayres is a town in Trinidad & Tobago, according to Wikipedia. I have also found out (via the interweb) that a John Drysdale was born in 1883 in Haddington and died in 1893 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I'm confused......!!
