Dalmahoy,
Its club championship week at the golf club. My game is so poor at the moment I didn't even get close to qualifying for the knockout stages.
So with the greatly improved weather, and by that I mean it just didn't rain, I chose to walk the course and follow some of the matches.
The top players are excellent to watch and it makes me wonder what I am doing wrong as they make it look so easy. I am having a lesson tomorrow to learn the secret.
The shot is of the 18th hole, some 457 yards par 4, with a massive ravine about half way. Stupidly difficult finishing hole and for those who are interested and understand these things, it usually plays around 1.85 over par on each competition.
Its easily the hardest hole on the course but looks tremendous with the views back to the hotel. The building itself dates back to 1724 or as we say here is Scotland, nearly half past five.
Sorry.
