Optical

Got up at 6am this morning...about 4 hours earlier than I have any day in the past month. Went to school to prefect the 5th years induction day to Sixth year. It was pretty amusing - the 'icebreakers' we made them do were particularly awkward and funny.
Then I had the dreaded optician appointment (I cannot stand anything to do with eyes) since I figured it was about time to get contacts for driving etc. It actually went quite well in the end, I had my 'lesson' in putting them in and taking them out and left with a weeks trial of daily lenses and some very smudged eye makeup. It's pretty sweet being able to see the TV guide from the sofa.
