Today Mr B had an extra day off work, he has loads of holidays to use up. I woke up expecting to find him snoozing beside me but he had woken early, made me some lunch and he was ready and waiting to chauffeur me in. He then returned home, cooked dinner for the evening, entertained my sis and the nutty neice, fixed the curtain rail which Tom somehow managed to destroy during his recent visit, repaired the skirting boards AND THEN returned to work to collect me.

As I say, my hero.

At the end of the day he commented that being a housewife is exhausting.... don't think I'll be getting that kind of treatment again then!
