Telekia speciosa

I don't know which helianthus this is. Or maybe I'm totally wrong with the name.
This flower is in the garden where I exercise my do-in. It reached different stadia now. Starting with yellow it goes to yellow brown and ends with brown.

Note at 26-6-2011 This beautiful plant is a Telekia speciosa. In Dutch called 'Koeienoog' literaly translation Cow's eye.
So it is not a helianthus.
