Dark, chilly day

Turbulent weather with news of sleet and possible snow elsewhere in the country.

Been out to visit my Mom in the hospital, and indeed some strong cold front moving in and across the country. It is reported that the max temp for Jo'burg tomorrow will be 10*. That is not very pleasant in a country where we mostly do not have central heating.

The image was taken through my study window. Visible is part of our garden and across the road is the poinsettia that I blipped earlier. It is still full of red flowers heads.

Thanks to all the blippers for the kind comments regarding my Mom's ilness. I do not think that I have mentioned it - she was diagnosed with pneumonia.
