Small Tortoiseshell

There are a lot of these guys flying around the nettles but usually they are too quick to catch. This one obliged me today and I was able to take several shots. It is lovely to see all the butterflies.

Sun and cloud today and still managed to avoid the rain in this area. I know you are all fed up with rain so hope the forecast for the week-end is spread all over the UK. Hope you all have a lovely sunny week-end.
