wing flapping

so i ran into some white ducks today. they were really pretty but not interested in me at all... they were cleaning and preening and dipping into the water...

i was chatting with them - and snapping pics - and still they paid no nevermind to me... that is until i laid down a challenge...

"say" i said... "how fast can you flap your wings? i would love to get that on film."

"oh...fairly fast" they quacked in response.

and one by one, demonstrated...

"huh... that's impressive... but is that all you've got?" i inquired back...

"oh no..." quacked this spotted beauty... "i can wing flap exceedingly fast. watch and learn..."

he then rose up out of the water - and did this little dance... flapping his wings so fast they became a blur... to the quacking delight of his cohorts - as well as me. and making for a
