Garden Enemy #1

I know it looks like I've got loads of garden pests, but most of the time things are manageable :) It looks like now summer is officially here, the Japanese beetles (Popillia japonica) have arrived. They will devour your garden in a blink of an eye... They are not the prettiest beetle either. This one is on a potato vine, of course after I took the photos, I smacked it off.. a lot of good that will do :)
