Lupins

Lupins are very abundant here on Cape Breton Island....I stole some yesterday and they have been sitting in a vase in my studio! the smell is strong and i love it....but more than that, i love the concentration of these beautiful flowers when crowded into a vase...you get a very different feeling compared to how they are when growing in the wild! i love that scene also....but i want that all encompassing feeling of their presence!
Just look at how puffy and full those little blossoms are....so fresh!

It's friday night....and we have a busy day ahead of us tomorrow.....a birthday party for richard.....should be fun, but lots of cleaning, organizing and cake baking to do....it's supposed to rain all day :(
