Woodend

This is the fantastic place we fished for the last two days. Great pools with lots of fish and the most peaceful place. No cars or people for miles, fantastic forest and a great river that has a character of its own.

The sun came out at lunchtime and all the snow had melted, but the fish were still not interested. They are cold-blooded after all, so they probably think they took a wrong turning coming up this icy river.

A whole week of fishing, one fish between three of us, but it was still fantastic. They say that's why it's called fishing and not catching.
