Smokies getting smoked

Today was my first experience of the Royal Highland Games, near Edinburgh. It was a day filled with forging competitions, tree climbing races, sheep shearing events and much much more farm related activities however my favourite thing of all were the Arbroath smokies, these little guys were delicious. £3 for the most moist and tasty fish. Each was was wrapped in a plain piece of brown paper ready to be eaten on the go. Although not clear the image shows the fish being smoked as I waited in the queue. All in all a fun day made better by this little surprise.
