Heron

Bit mixed weatherwise today - again. However, early evening, and the sun is out and it is good and warm so we popped Rona into the car and off we went. Mag needed to get some flowers for her mother to plant round the local phone box. So, garden centre it was then up to Stirling University for a stroll round Airthrey Loch. Always good for wildlife, we spotted duck, swans, coots, oyster-catchers and this chap. Old heron was not bothered by us wandering quite close by and just stood. head sunk into his shoulders while I took a few photos.
We also spotted rabbits (loads) and squirrels (also loads) but no sign of the mink we spotted a while ago.
