The Plague Stone

Penrith's Plague Stone had stood in the same place since 1597.
It has a hollowed trough that contained some sort of disinfecting fluid that townsfolk used to put their money when buying farm produce from country folk.
Today the hollowed trough was full of litter, hence the reason I blipped from a distance.
