Saturday

A good start to the weekend today. We went to a restaurant to celebrate a friends Birthday, did a bit of shopping, played around and generally had fun.

I built the little dry stone wall in this pic. It's a retaining wall, holding back quite a bit of soil, so it had to be done thick and strong, and I'm quite chuffed how well it's lasted. It's a fun thing, dry stoning - but frustratingly dependent on what rocks you've got available!
