Green Light

took this Blip earlier today but I am sitting outside right now with the chiminea blazing and the dogs sleeping beside me out on the patio as the sun sets. Could almost imagine it was summer except for the cold wind!!! Had a lovely day today heading up to Aberdeen to watch Darcey's Stagecoach children do their end of term show - so sweet! Then a cultured coffee at Malmaison and back home for a chilled afternoon. Cass is off to a wedding reception and Darcey is out on the town so us oldies have bbq'd some steak, enjoyed each other's company sitting outside with the dogs and had a great evening in the garden. I love our eclectic border - a very strange mix of red hot pokers, thistles and loads of other stuff I couldn't name but I love the mixture of colours!

I wish summer could be like the summers in the 70's!!!! It's wonderful sitting outside watching the sun go down even if it's with the aid of a chiminea!!
