Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday today to Mrs DD.

As a special treat I asked her to select a recipe from her new Leon book - a gift from son and daughter-in-law - and I would cook it.

Yes. You all read correctly. I said I would cook it, and cook it I did.

And here is the result, complete with glass of Scottish ale to wash it down.

The Pimms is also a gift from my brother and sister-in-law in preparation for Mrs DD's trip to Wimbledon on Wednesday. What an exciting week.

I think the curry looked good and it tasted not too bad either. Just don't get any ideas. Birthdays are only once a year.
