Clear Night on the West Coast

We spent the weekend over at our section on the West Coast, everyone said its rare to get a frost over there so we had two frosty nights just to prove them wrong.The sky was very clear and there was more stars than i have ever seen before, i was going to take a picture but my lens kept fogging up........any suggestions.
