A Favourite Haunt
One of my favourite haunts, the Old Queen's Head in Sheffield. It was once a banqueting house for the residents of Sheffield Castle when the were out hunting. Later it was a wash house for the castle.
It was built in the 1490s, but was named in honour of Mary Queen of Scots (who would certainly have used it) when it became an inn.
It's reputedly very haunted, and some parts of it do feel very odd, but it is a lovely building.
