What a week-end!
It all started on Friday when I had a ton of golden gravel delivered and the old shed, shelving, rubbish, etc etc was taken away by a local recycling firm.
My wonderful landscaping friends arrived early yesterday morning and A. ( of recent shed fame!) started clearing the side garden of the house, ready to transform it- and transform it he certainly did. We worked all day ( until dinner out at our lovely local.) and it was starting to look lovely.
This morning the anticipated heatwave arrived and I was out there before 8 a.m. to paint the wall. It's now nearly 5 p.m. and I've had to stop for today. The aches and pains have taken over, so it's shower time.
The best thing is......Brickmaker's treasured brick has found a new home.
Just the paths to be power-washed and the fences to be painted and then I can sit and enjoy it. That's all for another day.
