the garter stitch

welll my mother would hardly believe it Ive started knitting squares for a charity blanket just the basic knit one but no purl yet Amazing how some of it comes back We were taught the basics at school mother used to knit our cardies and jumpers and lumberjackets [a zip cardie with collar] Loved mine Dont know if i'll graduate to such delights but you never know I may just have started a trend with myself
