Rescue Helicopter

Today was the RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat's Open Day and Fete. Part of the rescue demonstrations included a joint exercise between RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat and HMS Gannet's Search & Rescue Helicopter.

It was a very impressive display and I've got loads of photos. Unfortunately, as a volunteer fundraiser for RNLI, I've been working on the stalls all day, running around taking photos and up since 6am so haven't the energy to process them all tonight. Here's a quick preview but hopefully, I'll be able to post more on Flickr tomorrow.

The Hounds Point Terminal Targe Fire Fighting Tugs also gave a demonstration which is spectacular to see particularly with the backdrop of both Forth Bridges.
