Hayle Mill

This is part of the Loose stream as it passes through the valley towards Tovil and into the Medway; it's 10 minutes walk from here. Opposite where I took this is Upper Crisbrook Mill.

Jolly day all round. Cal and I had a shopping dash for comestibles which would survive exposure to the unregulated heat of burning charcoal. I managed not to burn anything while he watched the Grand Prix (boring race I'm told) and we enjoyed an al fresco dining experience only slightly dented by next door's cat catching a frog in my garden. The screams were terrible so I chased the cat away. After that we both had a rest and then Cal cut the grass before I dropped him home. Time for a glass of wine now I think - that'll help with the heat I think.
