Baby Whitethroat

The weather was a bit damp and miserable very first thing and it looked like being a bad day for photographs but the sun came out at just after eight o'clock and the baby birds were hopping all over the place. We saw young whitethroats, willow warblers, chiffchaff and blackcaps. A lovely morning, then breakfast at McD's (an indulgence because I had my blood taken on Thursday so it won't happen again for six months).

A long bath in the afternoon, reading a book, and a visit from Rachel and Berry to round off the day. Nearly time for Popstar to Operastar and an early night because we're off to Bempton Cliffs tomorrow.
