Asymmetric bars for parallel universes

These two happened to be in the same place at the same time.
Yet they could be light years away from each other.

The day started refreshingly cloudy but the sky cleared up by lunch time and rapidly reached an uncomfortable 22 degrees Celsius. There is no air conditioning in the new house. This is the second day in a row and I do not know if we can cope with this level of heat and sunlight for much longer. What is the government doing about it?!?!
