iFad

I always wanted an iPad, but Mrs Geek harrumphed at my silliness.

Just as I'd resigned myself to a pad-less life, she looked after a patient who had one, and had a shot of it. She went from "what are they for to "I want one" in a few seconds.

We waited for the iPad2, then waited a little longer as we ordered online. It's been used every day by at least 2 of us...and most often by all 4.

I'm resisting the switch to all-Apple though. It's partly cost, but mostly because I know I'll be the apogee of "smug Apple user". Not a comment on Apple users, more one on myself. And we do love our iPad.
