Legends
Keith Amor, a Scottish Motorbike racer with the Honda TT Legends team, and myself, at Perth Motorcycles today, after I rode through wind and rain to get there to meet him and also take the new CBR600RR bike for a blast.
Shame it was actually lashing with rain, but you know what?
After meeting Keith...I didn't care!
Roll on Isle of Man TT next year, hopefully will get to see Keith in action, and have warned him I'm going to get this one printed and get him to sign it for me next year.
This wasn't Keith's year after he had a small accident in wet conditions and dislocated one of his shoulder joints. He was telling us he is waiting to see if he is going to have an operation on it shortly, or whether he will have to wait until the end of the racing season to have it done. He's due to race again with the rest of the team in a month at the Suzuka 24 hr endurance race, but iof he has the op now the race is in question for him, which as a professional racer is not a great prospect.
You can see his right shoulder is still swollen through even the motorbike leathers, and it's obviously sore.
Hope it heals soon, he's a great racer and a really nice bloke. We wish him all the very best for the remainder of the season.
