The contrast between these two is like me parking my C2 at Tesco and a Maserati turning up beside me!

This is the Kathleen Anne, moored on the Caledonian Canal. I found more details (including interior pics) here, and I started looking for the price. I was surprised at how affordable a yacht like this could be for a millionnaire - only £125,000. Until I found out that that was to charter it for a week!!

Still, if anyone is struggling for ideas for a 'big' birthday this year, I'm sure I could find nine people who might be interested in joining me. :)


Out of interest, look at where I was a year ago! This is around the same spot on the canal, just on the other side of the swing bridge.
