A bit of a lemon

Well not entirely. My 5 month old Canon 40D has developed an annoying fault: Sometimes the shutter button doesn't work instantly. You know how you can depress it slightly to focus and lock? Then you press further and the shutter fires? Well mine doesn't always fire the shutter and you have to press a little bit too hard to make it go.
A quick look on the internet revealed that it's a known problem with the 20D onwards. I shall send it back to Canon soonish (I'm beginning to suspect that the 10D was a better-built camera).
