At the yearly county fair held in Del Mar, California one of the local high school auto shop classes disassembled this automobile and displayed it with a sign saying:

According to Toyota Motor Corporation, 30,000 parts are needed to build a car.

The automatic transmission alone contains nearly 1000 parts.
This includes bolts, fasteners, O-rings and gaskets.

This vehicle is not fully disassembled.
We estimate there are well over 1000 additional parts that could be disassembled on this car alone.
