The Equivalents are multiple series of photographs by Alfred Stieglitz that are considered to be the first examples of intentionally abstract photography. Stielglitz sometimes used Poplar trees as reference points in his photos, but we are a bit shy on those in Tokyo. Plenty of telegraph poles though...
