"Day 12 Songthrush Babies"

Managed to get a quick shot of the babies at 3.30 pm this afternoon and you can see there are 3 still in the nest and 1 sitting on the edge. This no doubt will probably be the first and bravest to leave the nest. Cannot believe the progress they have made in just 7 days from the previous blip on the 21 June.

The little fella sitting on the edge of the nest has now been brave enough to sit on a branch in this bush about a foot away from the nest so I reckon he is practising for the "big flight"

Just one left in the nest mother is nearby in a tree and I gather the other 3 are quite near her as well!
