The beast

No beauty today, just the beast! Lots of them all over my beautiful poppies! If anyone knows of a good way to get rid of them without using slug pellets please let me know as I don't want to harm the birds.

A busy day today planning and tutoring. Very hot earlier again but we've had some rain now and it's cooling down. I hope we don't get the really bad storms they are forecasting, I've even heard that there will be some tornadoes. Why is it in this country that we always suffer if we even get a sniff at some good weather?!
