Sugar and Spice

They're worms. I have a worm assisted composter in my garden called a Can-O-Worms and they eat all my kitchen scraps (except meat, fish and cheese).

Every now and then I collect the beautiful nutrient rich compost they make. As I was doing it yesterday in the sunshine, a number had escaped to the lid and then had nowhere to go.

Just as well I'm not squeamish isn't it?
