big fight!

was in pollock park today with my gran, papa and sister, had a really nice walk through the park and got some gorgeous shots of horses in the river by a waterfall, flowers, portraits and of course the highland cows and their calves. I had just finnished getting some really cute shots of the smallest calf when this happened. All the cows were right by the fence where the water trough is and a big fight broke out between 3 of the mothers. No calves were hurt however one of the mothers ended up falling after they ran to the other side of the field and the 2 other cows kept ramming their horns at her neck and sides. She eventually got up after a while, but i think she would be a bit sore after that.

On the plus side it gave me a good photo opportunity.
